This is a long process. First you must develop your negatives in a developing tank. Next is to cut the negatives into strips of 5 pictures in a strip. Next you make a contact sheet. this is when you put the negative in contact with the strip. Then as you apply light to the paper you reveal more and more of the strip each time. Following this step you can do a contact sheet strip all on the same amount of time. the time varies on which on looked the best on the previous contact sheet. Now that you have made a full contact sheet on the same time you can make a 4x7 of the best looking individual negative. Here, you will make a test strip on one negative. Once you find the best looking amount of time you can proceed to make a 4x7 all on one amount of time. Here you are left with your finished product.

On this project we hand to create three photograms. One that was a landscape, one that is symmetrical, sand one that is a magazine. The hardest one to complete was the magazine photogram. It was hard to have all three shades black, gray, and white in the image. but I believe that in all three I captured the three shades. I used tissue paper to create gray. In order to create white I had to cover a spot on the paper completely so no light was exposed to it. Black is created when light hits the photo paper. Overall the process was irritating but the outcome was worth it. I reached the requirements of each photogram.

This work is my favorite so far. I believe I did a good job at making the arm pop. It looks like as if the arm was coming out of the image. Furthermore, I like how I blended the 2 backgrounds into one that complimented the focal point. I could have done a better job at creating a background that wasn't do cluttered. In the top left there are conflicting images that create a sense of clutter. Overall, I think this project was a success and is my favorite project so far.

The strongest part of this work again is the focal points. The fish give the image depth along with the eye popping colors. Having the water be a different color enhances the photo because then two blues are not next to each other. The objective of this project was to edit the image by desaturating it and highlighting the focal point. Finding a picture that has a sting focal point with vibrant colors was difficult. Probably the easiest part of this project is highlighting the focal points. If i were to do this project again i would may find a better photo with a little more going on. The photo seems boring other than the colors, the background can be enhanced. Overall, this project was a success and the objective of editing a photo through desaturating it was achieved.
The strongest part of this image is the most important part, the focus point. The focus point of this project adds depth to the image allowing the lion to pop out of the work. i could improve the painting with the history brush. This image was difficult because every time i painted the stray lion hairs you could see the blue sky through the hair. The blue made the picture look awkward and takes aways from the focus of the lion.
The easiest part of this project is the desaturation of the image. Also, the painting isn't too hard but more time consuming then anything. I would find a more suitable picture if I could do this project again. This was an amusing project with an outcome i was proud of.

In a technical aspect of the painting I believed that I did a good job in blending the paint of the fish along with the coloring of the fish. I could've improve making a focal point. Before I painted the fish the flower was a clear focal point of the image, but after painting the fish they now pop in the image creating conflicting focal points in the image.
There wasn't many things that were easy about this project. finding the tools and the correct brushes for what you doing was difficult. I guess the easiest thing about this project was the painting but it was very time consuming given you had to paint everything close to perfection.
To demonstrate the objective I edited my image through paint on photoshop. The paint deepens the feel of the photo. Also, personalizing the image to the feel and look I desire. I would change the way the water and flower look. Maybe change the color or even something as simple as the saturation or effect. I would like the flower to be more of a focal point in the image.
